WRAP® (Wellness Recovery Action Planning)
WRAP® is a way of monitoring and managing your physical and mental health, as well as substance abuse and/or other life issues. It is a program that guides people through the process of discovering their own personal resources and then using those resources to get well, stay well, and effectively deal with life’s challenges, while improving health and quality of life over time. WRAP® is for anyone who wants to create positive change in the way they feel or increase their enjoyment in life.
WRAP® consists of 3-7 sessions (depending on the length of each session) and costs a total of $175. It is vital that participants attend all sessions of their class because each session builds upon information from the previous session. Certificates will be provided at the end of the course for those who complete the WRAP® course. WRAP® is also one of the first steps in becoming a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS). Learn more about becoming a CPSS here (*LINK* anchor to TYHW*).
Classes are also available for teens (6th grade & up) as well as adults. A teen/youth class will be scheduled soon. If you need more information or have questions, please email Melissa Lewis. Thank you!
